Everything I have heard (tbf about the CLA250) is that dynamically its quite a fun and engaging car to drive with decent steering feel. Wonder if our mate here (who seems not to be able to set the steering wheel at the right height) also forgot to put the car into Sport+ mode?

sorry did you say bmw engine? no thanks, I'm buying a Japanese car, therefore, i expect good quality, superior reliability, a car that won't break the bank. so, i expect an either vvti petrol or the d4d jap engines, not sloppy german engines that blows up! i would not buy a Toyota with a Peugeot or BMW engine..

I personally choose the Passat. It's got a much better interior than the Mondeo, it's nowhere near as ugly as the Mondeo, and it looks like a fashionable car on the road.

WOW, look at that interior compared to the new 2024 focus with big screen ! this looks so much better ! If I could buy a new focus diesel with this interior I would buy it tomorrow ! I drive an EV with crap infotainment where the screen means lots of menus to do basic tasks like climate control and radio. Just look at the speedo and rev counter, the fuel gauge, wow, so much nicer than many cars today which replace all this with TFT screens !

As to the weapon‘s console this isn‘t a screen-used car but great to see anyways.

The SX ride and handling is much better than the LX and EX in the Sorentos. They mount the power steering module to the rack instead of the column, the seats are softer, there's more noise dampening, etc etc etc. Don't buy an LX or EX after testing only an SX - they don't ride the same.

Fabulous review! I just bought a 981 GT4 with 7500 miles about one month ago. I agree, this is the best sports car, for the money, that I have ever driven. The manual gearbox is amazing. Nothing can beat a mid-engine Porsche.

Hello at the Telegraph. This review was done many years ago and you might have changed your focus. But this test didn't quite impress me because he tried to sell Audi and BMW. In my opinion this test was a complete disaster, but many car reviewers have for years used all too much time on handling in twisty roads instead of driving comfort, every day use and the cost of ownership. it is a great car. We have the 1.0 boosterjet and the turbo on it combined with the low weight can blast the thing down the street, far faster than the 0-60 would make you believe. It has value in spades over pretty much all its competition from what I can see. I would probably say the screen on radio looks a bit naff but the cluster for the driver is easily better / more neutral than the latest likes in a C or E class Mercedes. Puts a smile on my face or rather is just so easy to drive in the city. And I say this as somebody also with an M3 ! It is a great car that has so much value compared to others because a lot of people don't really know Suzuki and so don't bother to consider it

Want a really good quality grown up car -get the Fabia ..Fiesta is for teenagers and people who value style and engine thrum over real value quietness and class .I had a mad moment and bought a Fiesta ,but that love affair lasted just 2 weeks ,couldnt wait to get back into a Fabia ..
